iMazing is now supporting macOS 26, iOS 26 and all other newly announced platform updates

Just one week after Apple’s WWDC announcements and beta releases, we’re excited to announce that iMazing offers early support for macOS Tahoe 26, currently in its first developer beta.

Compatibility stretches from macOS 26 all the way back to El Capitan (10.11, released in 2015), and of course, to Windows.

A Half-Full Liquid Glass

Apple's new "Liquid Glass" design language element as presented during the WWDC 25 keynote introducing macOS 26 Tahoe

Thanks to our custom native components, we encountered only minor compatibility issues with macOS 26's new interface controls. Although Apple's transition to SwiftUI for native control rendering required some adjustments, everything is now working smoothly.

The new Liquid Glass design language, however, still needs refinements. Low contrast, high motion, and other stylistic flourishes currently raise accessibility and even general usability concerns.

Guided by our user‑centric design philosophy, iMazing keeps usability and accessibility at the forefront—and we’ll keep refining the interface as macOS 26 evolves.

In the words of our Head of Design:

We’re committed to an intuitive, accessible experience for everyone—and ready to tackle Apple’s new interface, without compromising our core principles.

Our reservations about Liquid Glass aside, we appreciate and salute the effort to bring more coherence to the various interfaces, across all Apple platforms.

Also and among interesting announcements of the 2025 edition of WWDC, we noted the roll out of App Intents framework that we've begun studying and which promises powerful new interaction capabilities for iMazing.

The Talk Show Live From WWDC 2025

For the second year in a row, we proudly sponsored John Gruber’s The Talk Show Live. Despite the unusual absence of Apple’s senior executives, this edition is just as entertaining—and definitely more incisive—than previous years. Watch the full show below.
